Previously troops 743 (boys) and 1743 (girls), we are the first combined troop in the Arrowmoon District. Our scout-led troop goes on monthly campouts throughout the state, loves high adventures, and generally has a lot of fun! If you are looking for your next adventure, we invite you to join us at one of our weekly meetings.
Scouts BSA is the traditional Scouting experience where boys and girls can have their share of adventure in the great outdoors. Develop a love of service by volunteering in your community, boost your leadership skills through fun and exciting challenges, and create memories of a lifetime with no prior Scouting experience required!
The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
The BSA will prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout.
Be prepared.
On my honor, I will do my best. To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.
A Scout Is: Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.
Do a good turn daily.
*5th graders who are 10 and who register after March 1 OR have earned their Arrow of Light rank in Cub Scouts may also join a troop.
Youth in grades K-5 can join a Cub Scout pack and youth 14-20 can join a Venturing Crew or a Sea Scout Ship. Find your new adventure at beascout.scouting.org
