Troop 335 has a longstanding tradition of individuals achieving scouting's highest rank. This honor outwardly shows others that this young man has fulfilled a slate of rigorous requirements that deems him an "eagle". More importantly, however, the journey to eagle instills in each scout the traits that he knows is important to make himself a man of character. The Eagle Scout is proud to live his life by the Scout Oath and the Scout Law.
"On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight."
"A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent."
