Adult Volunteer Forms

Volunteer are always need and appreciated in an organization. The quality of the programs that we can offer to the scouts is directly related to the involvement of the adults that give of their time. Along with the forms and training that the BSA requires, our charter organization, St Michael Parish, requires adults to pass a background check and pass some additional training sponsored from the church before working with the scouts.

St. Michael training, Safe Haven Training (formerly Protecting God's Children) can be found by selecting this link,

Click Here for more information on PCG training

You will be redirected to the The Diocese of Manchester website page with the training. Scroll down and look for the Safe Haven Online Training.

Volunteers can visit the diocese page to complete and submit their Volunteer Application electronically and print their background check forms all from one place.

The State of New Hampshire Criminal Record Release Form needs to be notarized. This can be done at the church during the office hours.

Adults that have an active role with the troop will also need to complete. The BSA lists that the following positions need to complete the Adult Application (on the right) and complete the BSA Youth Protection Training online:

  • CR Chartered organization representative

  • CC Committee chairman

  • MC Committee member

  • SM Scoutmaster

  • SA Assistant Scoutmaster

  • Unit Scouter Reserve

  • Merit Badge Counselor

If you are one of these roles please print off and complete the attached also.

Adults that work with the troop are required to also take the online BSA Youth Protection training course online. Once you go through the training you will receive a certificate that you can give to the Scout Master to keep on file. Information on this process can be found at the bottom of Our Troop News Page.

Merit Badge Counselor Applications

We always need merit badge counselors to support the boys learning. Do you have a skill or an avocation that would be related to one of the many merit badges that a scout can earn? Then you can become a certified merit badge counselor and pass that knowledge along to our scouts. Complete form 34405 and return it to the Scout Master to start the process.
