In the spirit and grand tradition of scouting, Troop 126 has been serving the youth of Long Beach for over 70 years, since its foundation in 1948. The Troop is annually recognized by the Long Beach Area Council as a "Quality Unit".

Since 1948 we have been chartered by the Los Altos United Church of Christ. The church provides us with a meeting hall in which we hold our weekly meetings and host events like our annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser and Court of Honor recognition ceremonies.
