For more than 60 years, Scouts BSA Troop 373 has been a source of growth and adventure for boys. The troop has an active outdoor program, through which the Scouts both have fun and learn outdoor, leadership, and life skills. The Scouts lead the troop in an environment where everyone can push themselves and not be afraid of failing.
Troop 373 is chartered by Parents of Cambrian Park Scouting . Our size ensures that everyone knows each other well and that all the interactions are personal. While the Scouts exhibit Scout Spirit through all 12 points of the Scout Law, they seem to have a natural inclination towards the fourth point: Friendly.
Troop members have access to a Google Drive site with more detailed resources and information about upcoming events. We invite you to poke around here and get a flavor of what we're all about.
This is a Scout-led troop that focuses on the patrol method, where Scouts take active leadership roles. Through these responsibilities, they have regular opportunities to build and enhance their leadership skills.
We go camping every month, offering a wide range of activities during our weekend outings. Scouts participate in adventures such as backpacking, shooting sports, skiing, kayaking, and climbing, ensuring a fun and varied experience in the outdoors.
Troop 373 is dedicated to helping Scouts gain the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to advance through the ranks. We focus on fostering commitment and growth in each scout as they progress on their Scouting journey.
We believe young people cultivate a "spirit of service" through consistent acts of helping others. Whether assisting with Eagle projects, participating in troop-led community service, or supporting each other in outdoor activities, our Scouts are forming lifelong habits of kindness and service by practicing the principle of doing a good turn daily.
