Welcome to Troop 10 Needham's Website!

Troop 10 is a Boy Scout (Scouts BSA) Troop based in Needham, MA. Troop 10 was established in 1957 and today has over 30 active scouts of all ranks. We are a part of the Spirit of Adventure Council. We also camp for one week in the summer at Camp Yawgoog in Rhode Island. We welcome all new scouts (grades 6 and up or 5th grade crossovers) and parents who would like to join us.

Meetings are held at the St. Joseph's Church, located at 1382 Highland Ave, Needham, MA 02492. Scouts meet Monday evenings from 7:30PM to 8:30PM September to June. We have a simple rule of thumb: "No school, no scouts." Scouts should try to attend as many meetings as possible, for advancement and merit badge opportunities. Confirmation of attendance of regular meetings is not required. Meetings begin and end with a flag ceremony and troop announcements. During the meetings scouts work on rank advancement, merit badges and plan future programs and trips. Parent involvement is always welcome.
