tkr is a football scores and statistics application operated by **Bhavesh Misri in Australia**
(“we”, “us” or “our”).
Privacy contact: **contact@tkr-app.com**
This policy applies to the tkr Android application (`au.com.sports`) and the related account,
feedback, notification and support services.
You may use tkr as a guest or create/sign in to an account. For registered accounts, we process a
Firebase user ID and, depending on the sign-in method, your name, email address, profile image and
sign-in provider. Passwords and provider credentials are handled by Firebase Authentication and the
relevant sign-in provider; tkr does not store your plaintext password.
We process the teams, leagues and national team you follow, onboarding status, analytics choice,
notification choices and related app preferences. For signed-in users these choices may be synced
through Firebase so they are available across devices. Guest choices remain primarily on the
device.
If notifications are enabled, we process a Firebase installation/device identifier, app version,
notification registration information and your selected alert preferences. We use this information
to deliver the alerts you request. Android notification permission can be changed at any time in
the device settings, and notification categories can be changed in tkr.
When a signed-in user submits feedback, we process the selected category, summary, message, app
version, platform and Firebase user ID. We include an email snapshot only if the user explicitly
asks for a reply. Feedback submissions are protected by a per-account rate limit.
Firebase Crashlytics is used as an essential diagnostics service. It may process crash stack traces,
diagnostic information, app and operating-system versions, device model and Firebase installation
identifiers. Crashlytics is not controlled by the optional Analytics switch.
Like most online services, Firebase, Google and the sports-data provider may receive technical
request information such as IP address, timestamps, app or browser identifiers and requested
resources when your device connects to them.
Firebase Analytics is off by default and is enabled only if you opt in through tkr If enabled, it
processes a Firebase-generated app-instance identifier and limited information about screens,
feature actions, outcomes and coarse engagement duration. tkr does not send your Firebase user ID,
name, email, search or feedback text, credentials, sports entity IDs, route arguments or full URLs
as Analytics events. Advertising-ID collection, automatic screen reporting and ad-personalisation
signals are disabled for tkr Analytics.
When advertising support features are available, tkr uses Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User
Messaging Platform. Depending on your location, age treatment, device settings and consent choices,
Google may process advertising or device identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, ad
interactions, consent choices, diagnostics and fraud-prevention information. Where required, tkr
requests consent before requesting personalised advertising and provides access to privacy choices.
You may still receive contextual or limited ads where permitted after declining personalised ads.
No advertising or advertising-consent request is made until you choose an age range on the Support
screen. tkr stores only that range (13–15, 16–17 or 18+) on the device and does not request your
date of birth. For ages 13–15, Google Mobile Ads receives teen treatment and a General Audience
maximum content rating. For ages 16–17, it receives teen treatment and a Parental Guidance maximum
content rating. Both minor bands receive an under-age-of-consent signal and advertising
personalisation is disabled.
For ages 18+, standard adult treatment is used with a Teen maximum content rating and, where
required, Google’s consent choices. You can change the stored range from the Support screen.
tkr stores preferences, favourites and cached sports data on your device so the app can start
quickly and offer limited offline information. Android backup is enabled, so eligible local
preferences and cached app data may be backed up and restored by Android or your device provider,
subject to your device and Google account backup settings. Clearing the app’s storage removes the
local copy; deleting a registered account also initiates deletion of associated cloud account data.
We use information to:
- authenticate accounts and provide guest access;
- sync favourites and preferences;
- provide scores, statistics, predictions and other requested sports information;
- deliver notifications selected by the user;
- receive, secure and respond to feedback;
- prevent abuse, diagnose crashes and maintain security;
- provide advertising support features and record privacy choices; and
- measure app use only when Analytics consent has been provided.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, that basis may be performance of the service requested
by you, compliance with law, our legitimate interests in operating and securing tkr, or your
consent. You may withdraw consent for optional Analytics and eligible advertising processing
without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only as needed with:
- **Google Firebase and Google Cloud** — Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Cloud
Functions, Cloud Messaging, Analytics and Crashlytics;
- **Google sign-in and Android Credential Manager** — account authentication;
- **Apple** — authentication if you choose Sign in with Apple;
- **Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform** — advertising, consent, measurement, security
and fraud prevention when advertising features are active; and
- **Bzzoiro Sports Data (BSD)** — football fixtures, scores, statistics, images, odds and prediction
data requested by the app. When tkr connects to BSD, BSD may receive technical request
information such as IP address, timestamps, requested resources and team or player search terms.
tkr does not send your Firebase user ID, name, email address or profile image URL to BSD. For
more information about BSD, visit <https://sports.bzzoiro.com/>.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part
of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy practices. Their systems may process
information in Australia and other countries, including the United States. We do not claim that all
tkr data remains in Australia.
- Account identity, synced favourites and preferences are retained while the account exists and are
deleted through the account-deletion process, subject to limited provider backup and security-log
periods.
- Feedback and any reply-email snapshot are retained for up to 90 days, unless earlier deletion is
triggered by account deletion or longer retention is legally required.
- Firebase Crashlytics generally retains crash reports and associated identifiers for 90 days.
- Optional Firebase Analytics event-level data is retained for two months and user-level data is
retained for 14 months.
- Firebase installation identifiers are retained according to Firebase’s service lifecycle and are
removed after the applicable installation-deletion process.
- Local data remains until it expires, is cleared, the app is uninstalled, or a backup copy is
deleted under the device or backup provider’s controls.
- The sports-data provider and other processors may retain technical service logs under their own
policies.
We use encrypted network connections, authenticated access, owner-scoped database rules, restricted
feedback access and field validation. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection, so
users should keep their device and account credentials secure.
You can:
- use guest mode for core app access;
- change Analytics and notification choices in tkr;
- change the locally stored advertising age range on the Support screen;
- change Android notification and backup settings on your device;
- review eligible advertising privacy choices when that option is shown;
- unfollow teams or leagues and clear local app data; and
- delete a registered account from Profile in tkr
The in-app account-deletion flow removes the Firebase Authentication account and associated tkr
profile marker, synced favourites, preferences, registered devices, feedback and feedback
rate-limit record. You may also request deletion by emailing **bhavesh.misri@gmail.com** with the
subject **“Delete my tkr account”** from the email address associated with the account. Verified
requests will be completed within 30 days.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to
processing, or receive a portable copy of eligible personal information. Contact us using the
privacy email above. We may need to verify the request before acting.
tkr is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly permit a child under 13 to create
an account. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can
investigate and delete it. Users aged 13 to 17 should review this policy with a parent or guardian
where required by local law. Advertising remains off until an age range is chosen, and users who
select 13–15 or 16–17 receive the minor advertising treatment described above.
We may update this policy when tkr’s features, providers or legal obligations change. We will
publish the updated date and provide additional notice where a material change requires it.
