PTO Bylaws

1. In order for any staff member to receive funding, he/she requesting the funding must be present for at least 2 meetings.
2. The PTO President has the authority to grant up to $100.00 to a party without it being voted on.
3. The PTO has the right to help families in need, up to $100.00 or more with a vote.
4. Mini grants up to $250.00 may be given to anyone who has the need for it and is present for at least 2 meetings.
5. Multiple mini grants of $250.00 may be given to a party, with a vote.
6. PTO officers can not vote.
7. There must be at least 5 registered members present to pass a vote.
8. Registered members are those who have paid dues of $2.00 for the current year.
9. Only registered members may vote.
10. Once a year, we will have an outside audit done on the PTO bank accounts.
11. The PTO officers serve for a 2 year term.
12. If this PTO is dissolved, any remaining funds will be given to Tri-Valley Central School District, once all outstanding debts have been taken care of.
