C13 and Triton-9 are now one!
c13 was started as a collaborative ARG featuring an alien planet flourishing with a plethora of unique dinosaur-like original species. It has since then been made into the 13th moon of the planet Triton-9. C13 is a mars-sized planet that is in orbit with Triton-9. The triton is similar in size to Saturn.
Like other planets, c13 is home to many unique biomes. There are a total of 56 biomes. Although this site will only cover the important ones, these biomes each have their own food chain, environmental dangers, and own significance.
This is a WIP. New biomes will be added randomly.
Despite not looking very desolate, the desert is a harsh environment. Homing, some of the most deadly plants on the planet is not somewhere someone would want to live, as well as being the hottest biome. Not many species call this place home other than the large serpents and their cousins the, hognose there are a few small predators and prey items to hunt. Due to this, many animals that do call the desert home will travel outside of its borders to hunt. All of the grass within the desert's borders is typically blood-red in coloration although saturation and hue change every once in a while. Crystals are known to jut out of rock surfaces, and are typically purple and are similar to amethyst crystals or cyan and a color which is similar to turquoise. The plant life is also typically red with some form of cyan, yellow, green, orange, or purple flower or leaves upon them. Many of the plants are not edible due to a toxin that they have inside of their leaves, although some species of herbivorous critters have evolved to consume this plant life. There are two deserts, one of them just right outside of the Mother Tree Forest and the other one is on the south side of the main continent.
Covering most of the southern point of the main continent of c13 is a large gloomy forest. Not many species live here. Due to the forest floor not getting very much sunlight due to a very thick canopy, there is a lack of ground vegetation. The name is derived from the highly toxic trees that make up the forest-bioluminescence is also prevalent within the forest. Some berries are highly toxic and some species feast upon them. The toxic trees all have thorns jutting out of the side and these thorns carry an excessive neurotoxic poison. When a creature that is not immune to these toxins is stung by a tree,it is paralyzed, their bodies slowly start to melt and erode. The water here also is not the best to drink because this, many animals only drink water from certain pools that are filtered through springs. Most of the animals here have hard scales and adaptations to live in the toxic forest. Most plants are also immune to these toxicities.
Sitting right below one of the deserts is a large forest. The forest has light red grass-lighter than the one in the desert. It also has some pink and purple trees and the trees have dark red wood. The leaves of some of the trees are cyan although not that noticeable. There are smaller plants as well that house different colors, but most of the colors seen in this forest are warm hues. The name of the forest comes from the centerpiece of this forest. It is located at the direct center of the forest where there is a giant tree. This tree rests right above a pond that has a small waterfall. The tree perches itself on top of a giant pile of rocks where its roots intertwine and go down into the pond below. Its branches are giant, much bigger than anything seen on Earth. The tree itself is dubbed The Mother Tree. It is given this name due to the very rich nutrients in the water that its seed pods carry. It is thought that if the waterfall that is next to it ever dries up in the water below this tree runs out, that this tree can drop and keep the animals alive until the next rainy season. Due to this, it is the mother of the forest.
The Serpent's Reach is in a location deep within the desert region. It is located in the southern desert and is a very large area. Unlike the rest of the desert which has luscious crimson grass covering most of the ground, the ground in the Serpent's Reach valley is made of hard stone that seems to be in some odd formation, almost like it was pushed back by a huge wind. Some plants are seen here in rough patches of crimson grass, but other than that, there is truly not much plant life. It is almost constantly storming in this region, but it rarely rains. It's just lightning and thunder and what seems to be threatening rain almost daily. When it does rain the serpent skeleton in the middle of this valley will be covered completely in water. It is at this time that it is possible to drink the water and it is said that it might have some magical properties. After it rains, the sky will clear up for just enough time for the water to evaporate and open up the valley to its inhabitants again. This is one of the main locations that the Viper-headed serpents will travel to. This includes Hülya and Rampage. Although sometimes hog noses are seen in the region, it is not common. Hognoses are known to primarily lurk inside the all-mother tree forest. The crystals that are growing into the giant snake skeleton seem to be something very closely resembling amethyst, but it is quite different. These crystals seem to give off negative energy, which aligns with the fact that this snake skeleton is seen in mythology as a god of destruction, death, and fear.
Located around the whole outer border of the continent there İs a coastline is, The one seen in this image is right against the edge of the poison forest. On the coast there are very rectangular-shaped rock ledges that certain species use to perch upon and build homes, crystals are also abundant on the beaches, and the water itself is cold and crisp. The ocean closest to the beach line is light teal and it graduates to a dark purple as it gets deeper and deeper. This is due to the sand below it causing it to be a lighter shade. Species that call this place home or the Knox and Viato. The beach itself is not very dangerous other than the fact that there are giant sharp shells in the sand that may slice a foot or two. The coast is one of the most abundant biomes in terms of food and water.
The dead swamp is a hot and humid area of C13. The ground is constantly giving off fumes and small greenish sparks. This region is named dead swamp due to the lack of leaves on any of the trees as well as the trees look constantly charred. The reason that this area is constantly giving off fumes is due to the underground cave system. The cave system has an ever-burning fire within it which causes the surrounding area to be constantly heated up and perfumes to come out of access points to the caves. Due to this, very small number of animals do live here, but life is abundant within the water and a few larger predators such as the Titanodraco Pseftikomatisuchus will wander into this swamp's territory.
The lush swamp is a region surrounding the dead swamp on C13. This swamp is much more lively with a very thick canopy of hanging leaves from the trees. The tree leaves are typically red, yellow, or green, causing the atmosphere to be a radiant red color. The water here is an unnaturally teal color which starkly contrasts against the red-colored grasses and rocks. That is also a feature of this swamp. The swamp is home to many small predators, herbivores, etc. This area is especially seen as the primary home for the Titanodraco PseftikomatiSuchus. This area is much darker in lighting than many areas on the planet, making it light that a lot of the animals that inhabit this area have darker colorations than the ones that live in the sunlight. Many of the inhabitants of this swamp have bioluminescence scales that can be used to hunt or communicate with others of their species. This is especially prevalent in the main apex predator.

The Serpent is a hyper-intelligent Carnivore of the Titanodraco Genus. They grow to an average height of 25 ft tall. They have snake-like mouth anatomy including- Jacobson's organ, tongue sheath, and a forked tongue. Their bodies, like the other Titanodracos, are lined with armored scales and plates. These Titanodracos have four horns on their heads with 6-8 spikes on their necks. Another thing that is noted in this species is their 5-fingered human-like hands and 4 toed feet....
The Suchus like, its namesake, is a crocodile-like predator spending most of its time in the swampy abyss. The Suchus is small in comparison to the other Titanodraco species. It is built with a thick, powerful tail with fins that function like a rutter, large webbed feet, and specialized nostrils built for spending hours underwater. Suchus' have a false eye on their crest, this is used to make it look like the animal is always awake and watching. Unlike other Titanodracos, the Suchus has its keel facing downward; this is a feature that may give some advantage in its lifestyle. The Suchus is very crocodilian-like in behavior, stalking prey that drinks on the edge of the water. dissimilar to crocs, they can chase prey on land if it comes to it, they are slower and easily clumsy when it comes to this kind of pursuit. Another unique adaptation this species has is Bioluminescence. Suchus have scales along their head, back, and display structures that will glow in a dazzling disorienting display. This display is used to capture prey or battle over territory
Living along the coasts of the planet, the viatos are dubbed the traveling hunters because they travel almost all of the continent, apart from places like the middle of the poison forest, due to the forest's natural toxicity. They are also incredibly social, often communicating with many other species. Vitos like to make meeting spots in large caves that are dubbed "Taverns". Individuals will gather here to trade crystals, shells, rocks, food, etc. all of which originate from their travels. They love to take jewels and cloth from other species they've traded with and adorn themselves with these rarities. The older the individual, the more gems and clothing that they will have upon their body. The more they have, the richer they are. These creatures will collect almost every gem on the planet. Although some are rarer, for example, glowing gems seen within the serpent's reach are not common and can be used for medical reasons or for the richest to show off. Viatos are naturally adorned with quite impressive head ornamentation, males and alphas will have much larger head ornaments. Alphas are most typically males or high-testosterone females, although they can occur in intersex individuals as well. This species sports bright vibrant colors and is quite variable
This 6-legged lizard-like creature is called the Lyre. It has 3 eyes and an extremely long tail. It's very small, compared to every creature on the planet. It is very very distantly related to the Cuetzpallea. The Lyre is a small, arboreal animal that eats anything it can catch or fit in its mouth. However, its main food source is fruits and berries. It has a small frill on its neck that can spread out like a frilled dragon when threatened. The reason behind its name, the Lyre, is its frill that when it expands, it can replicate a sound similar to other animals. Wherever a baby is, its protective parents will be too. After all, the Lyre lives in the swamps and poisonous forests, and really, anywhere with trees. They range in size depending on age and diet. The more protein, the bigger it gets. They average around the general size of monitors, like the water monitor. As said previously, they spend most of their time in trees. Wrapped around trunks or large branches in the sun, bathe. Their tails are very strong. And the Lyre can hang off a branch with only its tail. They usually fall prey to teenage Oscu, but some Suchus and Oscu choose to keep a Lyre around to eat harmful bugs that dig into the skin of Oscu/Suchus. The Lyre is not super intelligent, but it can recognize the Oscu/Suchus, who chooses to keep them safe. They adore the free food and will often lightly curl their tail around the neck of the predator and lie like a scarf of sorts when sleeping
The Ka-Mau is a large species of Hexapoda Lizard native to the Poison forests of the C13 Archipelago. They are not vicious creatures and are typically docile to other creatures unless the creature is too close to them or is destroying something they care about. They live in the same trees that the Cuetzpallea's call home and are the Cuetzpallea's primary predators. Growing to 6 ft tall, Alphas are up to 9ft, they aren't very tall but make up for it in length. Like a few other species on the planet, they have an alpha class. This type of class is larger and much buffer than the non-alphas. The non-alphas are smaller and more agile. As mentioned above, these are hexapod creatures that are native to the archipelago Islands. They are slender and long. Some notable features of them are the plate-like structures that run along their backs as well as on the tail. Another thing to know is the six earlike structures that protrude from their head. These are similar in behavior to a dilophosaurus frill from Jurassic Park. When not in use, they fold into two flaps. How this works is that the largest ear on both sides of the head will fold over the smaller ears. Whenever in a defense display, they will fold forward to make themselves look larger. One of the most obvious features of the species is the large upper arms that sit on top of the shoulder blade. At first glance, they appear to be remnants of wings that could have possibly been on this creature a long time ago, somewhat similar to those of the dragons of myth. But there is no wing structure to be seen other than the little flaps on the bottom of the arm that seemed to be remnants of the wing membrane. These arms are equipped with long fingers with very sharp grappling claws. It is noted that this species will primarily use these arms while up in the trees and only use the smaller, weaker front arms whenever running across the ground. Whenever you take a look at the inside of the mouth of this creature, it is prominent that they have very long skinny teeth that face backward similar to those of a green tree python. Those teeth are to hold flying creatures and are equipped with venomous saliva that comes out of each hollow needle-like tooth. Color wise, they are quite variable, being similar to that of a bush viper with variants of colors. This means that they are very variable, so none of the offspring are going to look exactly like their parents and could be completely different colors. Something that seems to always be apparent in the spots on the ears and around the face and this is thought to be a display structure.
has Alpha class.
Cuetzpallea is a large reptilian species native to the poison forests of C-13. These large reptilian-like animals grow, on average, twenty to twenty-five feet and have an average height of five feet. Despite their large size, they weigh a standard of 2,200 pounds, enough to easily traverse the sturdy branches where they can reach the precious nectar available only to them. Being from the tree tops, one might not assume their relation to one of C-13’s less colorful mud dwellers. Cuetzpallea, despite its cutesy appearance, leads solitary lives in the high treetops of the poisonous forests. Both the males and females of this species are solitary, until they mate, upon which the male and female will live together, having multiple clutches of eggs. If either the male or female dies during this process or after the female has laid her eggs, they will seek another mate. Cuetzpallea is lined with long defensive spines leading down their backs to the base of their tails. The species are vast in color, but a common coloration is green, which can vary in shades with bright colors on their necks and bellies. Despite having large claws and fangs, Cuetzpallea are nectar eaters, using a proboscis to reach nectar within huge flowering plants in the Poison Forest. Although at certain times of the year, the flowers will produce fruit that these reptiles can eat. Similar to the toads of earth, Cuetzpallea possesses poison glands in the body that secret a toxic glue-like substance.
