Farmhand & Crew member at Field Point Oyster Farm
I was recently asked to return to my hometown of Wellfleet to shuck for the crowds at OysterFest 2025.
I am continuing to build my skills through both formal certifications and hands-on training. In 2025, I attended the Society for Ecological Restoration World Conference, where I completed a Field Botany Training focused on plant identification and ecological applications. In the past, I held a Massachusetts Watercraft Operator’s License, and while I have not maintained renewal, the training gave me practical experience with safe vessel operation in field settings. Looking ahead, I am on track to complete the required credits to become eligible for the Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner In-Training (CERPIT) credential, a professional certification that recognizes applied expertise in restoration ecology.
