I’m Tristan, an oyster farmhand and recent Paul Smith's College graduate with a Bachelor’s in Ecological Restoration. Alongside my degree, I’ve pursued minors in Botany and GIS, blending field experience with technical tools to better understand and restore ecosystems. Although much of my academic work has been rooted in upstate New York, I remain an aspiring marine ecologist, drawn to the connections between land and sea. Outside of academics, I restore sailboats, tend gardens, and study plant physiology - interests that fuel my growing curiosity about phytoremediation strategies. This site serves as a space to share my work, showcase my GIS projects, and connect with others in the field of ecological restoration.
