Triply ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Triply mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Profile Information: First name, last name, and optional profile photo. This data is stored locally on your device only.
Travel Preferences: Wake-up time, nightlife preference, dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, travel interests, pace preference, and budget level.
Trip Planning Data: Destination (country and city), number of travelers, trip duration, trip type, budget level, and start date.
Subscription Status: Managed through RevenueCat and Apple's App Store. We do not directly collect or store your payment information (credit card details, billing address, etc.).
Usage Counters: We store basic counters (e.g., number of trips generated) locally on your device using the Keychain to manage free usage limits.
Location Data: Triply does not access, track, or store your real-time GPS location. We use Apple MapKit solely for city search and geocoding.
Analytics & Tracking: We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking tools, or advertising SDKs.
Crash Reporting: We do not use third-party crash reporting services.
Your information is used exclusively to:
Generate Travel Itineraries: Your preferences are sent to Google Gemini AI to create personalized plans.
Personalize Your Experience: Local storage allows the App to tailor suggestions without needing a server.
Manage Subscriptions: Verify access to Premium features via RevenueCat.
Search for Places: City names are processed via Apple MapKit for search results.
To provide our services, we share specific data with the following providers:
Google Gemini AI: When generating a trip, your destination, duration, and travel preferences are sent to Google.
Apple MapKit: Used for city search and geocoding.
RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app subscriptions.
Local Storage: All personal data (profile, trips, history) is stored on your device using SwiftData, UserDefaults, and Keychain.
No Cloud Storage: We do not maintain external servers to store your personal data.
No Account Required: You can use Triply without creating an account, ensuring your identity remains private.
Data Deletion: You can delete all data at any time via the "Reset Account" feature in settings or by uninstalling the App.
Triply is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us immediately.
Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR in Europe), you have the right to:

Modify your information at any time.
