Yellow Fever Outbreak
A yellow fever outbreak has hit the area with devastating effects and the staff are fighting a difficult battle. Shortages of medical supplies and most importantly vaccines stand in the way of the team making sure everyone is protected. Mosquito infestation and frequent flooding devastate the region with the poorest remote regions being worst affected. In light of this state of emergency Trinity Medical Centre has launched crowdfunding campaigns to raise global awareness of the situation in the hope to raise funds for our efforts.
We are grateful for any donations no matter how small.

The Trinity Medical Centre is a non profit organisation in Kasese, Uganda - a small town with surrounding villages in more remote areas, where access is difficult and access to water and other critical services are very difficult.

Thanks to government support, the team received 5,000 treated mosquito nets so far to help combat yellow fever but its not enough. Three out of 15 villages have been assessed so far and many hundreds of people have been identified as infected and in need of treatment. The team have secured a safe place for them to recover indoors and have provided what triage then can with limited resources but they are desperate for more supplies, from vaccines to hygiene equipment, they are seriously under equipped to deal with a pandemic of this magnitude. The research team have been out to some locations where the death toll has been significant, as much as 150 children in one village alone. The team are gathering as much data as possible about these locations, the diseases most prevalent and in particular access to water and proximity to mosquito breeding grounds.
The team desperately need your help, there is no minimum or maximum donation every donation is vital and will be gratefully received.
