Trinity High School, home of the Trojans, is a 6A high school in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District located near the southwest corner of the Dallas - Ft. Worth airport in Euless, Texas. Trinity opened in 1968 and sits on a sprawling campus much like a small college with individual buildings designed for the various areas of study. Trinity has a student population of over 2,500 in grades 10-12 and a faculty & staff of over 170. Trinity operates on a trimester schedule with 72 minute classes that meet daily. The academic coursework is both rigorous and diverse. Advanced study programs for Gifted and Talented, Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) are offered.
Students have a wide variety of award winning extra curricular activities for involvement. They include outstanding art, sport, journalism, and “individual interest” clubs. The student body is uniquely diverse with a population that is both majority minority and majority economically disadvantaged. Literally dozens of ethnic groups are represented on the campus and over 50 home languages are spoken.
There is a true sense of family on the Trinity campus. It is a very unique and special place for faculty, students and family alike. Trinity is possibly best described, “from the outside looking in, you can’t see it...from the inside looking out, you can’t explain it.”
The Trinity Choral Program has a tradition of excellence that spans almost five decades. There are over 200 singers involved in six ensembles. These include Concert Women’s Choir, Concert Mixed Choir, Harmony Show Choir, Varsity Women’s Choir, Varsity Men’s Choir, and A Cappella Choir. A source of pride in the choir program is the involvement of its members in campus life. They include class leaders, IB students, students in all sports including football, cheerleaders, drill team members, and many have jobs outside of school in addition to all that they do at Trinity.
