"16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” -Matthew 28:16-20
We at TCW believe that the Bible is the authoritative, inspired word of the living God. We believe as a Christian community, that salvation is only possible through faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. It is through Christ's perfect life, a willing sacrificial death, and His resurrection from Death, that we today have the Gospel--the Good News. That Good News is now entrusted to all those who faithfully believe in Christ to go an emulate His passions, to strive for His level of obedience to the Father, and to tell His story to all of those that need the hope, peace, and salvation that comes from the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our Pastor: Pastor Zachary Woods
Pastor Zachary Woods loves this Church Family! Pastor Zach and his family were appointed to be a part of our faith community on July 1st, 2020. Pastor Zach has graduated from Lancaster Bible College with a B.A in Pastoral Ministry and a B.A in Biblical Studies. His passions in ministry are to "watch a connected church strive to create disciples of Jesus Christ that include people from different generations, backgrounds, and walks of life." His passions to involve the congregations in studying the Bible are on full display each and every Sunday morning, "I believe that when we gather around God's Word, we need to study and sift through it all together. Sunday sermons should be a time where everybody can come along a biblical journey back through time together, to see God's redemptive hand through it, and seek as a body to take those lessons in today's world." In July of 2023 TCW voted to keep the dedicated work of Pastor Zach in our midst as we have hired him to serve as our Pastor in TCW's next chapter as an Independent Church. This means Pastor Zach's time here will not be on a year-to-year appointment basis, but rather the fruits of our collective ministry will decide the tenure of the Pastor. We are absolutely delighted to have him here for the foreseeable future!
