VET4NAI Multiplier Event – TrimTab Office, Stockholm
On October 9th, 2024, Trim Tab hosted the VET for NAI Multiplier Event at our Stockholm office. The event gathered partners and organizations focused on integrating newly arrived immigrants (NAI) into the labor market through vocational education.
Event Highlights:
• Welcome & Networking: Attendees connected over drinks and fika.
• Project Overview: A presentation of the Erasmus+ VET for NAI project and its mission to enhance employability for NAI.
• Toolkit Presentation: Introduction of the VET for NAI Toolkit, a digital platform aimed at supporting NAI job seekers.
• Workshop & Discussion: Participants shared feedback on the toolkit, exploring how it can be applied in their organizations and discussing potential challenges.
• Closing & Networking: The event concluded with evaluation forms, a visit to the EMPOWER homepage, and continued networking.

MAAS Project Meeting in Iceland
June 2024
🌟 Exciting Times at the MAAS Project Workshop in Reykjavik! 🌟
We recently gathered in the beautiful city of Reykjavik, Iceland, for a two-day workshop on June 27-28, 2024, as part of the MAAS project - "Match, Attach and Sustain: New methods for Europe’s Job Brokers supporting Tourism businesses, Ukrainian refugees, and job seekers."
The event, hosted at Vinnumálastofnun's Head Office, brought together partners and experts from across Europe to discuss and advance various work packages of the project.
On Day 1, we started with a warm welcome from Unnur Sverrisdóttir, Director of Vinnumálastofnun, followed by sessions on Project Management led by Trimtab, and the Community of Practice Platform led by Rinova. After a productive morning, we continued with discussions on Methods and eGuidance for Tourism Job Brokers led by Dimitra, and the eTracking Tool and Portfolio Builder led by Sextaplanta. The day concluded with a discussion on findings and next steps, followed by a happy hour at Kristjana's home and a delightful dinner at Restaurant Ráðagerði.
Day 2 focused on the continuation of the eTracking Tool and Portfolio Builder session, followed by Dissemination, Exploitation, and Legacy led by Folkuniversitetet. We wrapped up with an internal evaluation meeting and then enjoyed a trip to the North.
The workshop was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate, share insights, and plan the next steps for our project. A special thanks to all participants for their invaluable contributions and to our hosts for their warm hospitality.

The LTTA event for the VET4NAI project was successfully held on June 3-4, 2024, at DIMITRA Education & Consulting Headquarters in Larissa, Greece.
The event was a unique opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experience and cooperation among the participants.
Highlights included:
Team-building and VET4NAI project overview
Interactive career quiz and card game workshop
Training modules by TrimTab, DIMITRA, Effebi and FISPE
Practical motivational approaches and supportive networks
Presentation of the pilot phase with strategies for implementation
Participants gained valuable insights and tools for vocational guidance, networking, and collaboration, enhancing their skills in supporting newly arrived immigrants.

VETforNAI 4th Transnational Project Meeting Highlights

Greetings from the 4th Transnational Project Meeting in Rome! Here's a snapshot of our discussions and plans:
- Project Presentation: An overview of Project Management, including the new timeline, budget, and reporting.
- Project Meeting Evaluation: Assessment of the meeting's success and areas for improvement.
- Project Results: Updates on the development of the vocational/labor market guidance toolkit and the training curriculum (handbook) for guidance staff.
- Validation Process: Plans for pilot testing, stakeholder engagement, translation, and finalization of toolkit and training materials.
Next Steps:
- Toolkit Development (PR2): Finalizing by 30/04/2024, with each partner responsible for questionnaire editing by 29/03/2024.
- Training Handbook (PR3): Production by 30/04/2024, with evaluation and testing sessions planned by mid-April.
- Validation Process (PR4): Timeline set for pilot testing, stakeholder engagement, translation, and finalization by November 2024.
Upcoming Events:
- LTTA in Greece/Larissa: Dates confirmed (03-04/06/2024), logistical details discussed. Attendance lists due by 30/04/2024.
- Dissemination: Partners reminded to complete Dissemination Reports, publish newsletters, articles, and update project materials accordingly.

Empower: Last meeting in Sweden - Trimtab office
We concluded our latest meeting for the "EMPOWER – Encouraging Migrant Women to Seize their Potential and Opportunities in the World of Entrepreneurship" project! Through this initiative, we aim to assess the current skillsets of migrant women and enhance them through tailored training, empowering them to pursue professional self-employment.
Here's a recap of our recent activities in Sweden:
- Finalizing Project Activities: Putting the finishing touches on our project plans.
- Planning Multiplier Events: Preparing for impactful gatherings that will extend the reach of our project.
- Forward-Thinking: Brainstorming sessions focused on how our efforts can shape the future, and strategizing ways to prolong the impact of our learning materials beyond the project's duration.
- Cultivating Partnerships for Future Collaborations: Strengthening ties with potential collaborators for ongoing and future endeavors.
