General Rules:
Open to all youth showmen ages 5-19 as of January 1st, 2026. Adults are also welcome. 4-H and FFA members are encouraged to show.
Animals must be the property of the showman as of July 11th.
1 form per exhibitor.
Livestock Health Requirements: All livestock/animals offered for sale or exhibition at Kentucky County Fairs shall meet the following regulations according to KRS Chapter 257: a. 302 KAR 20:040 (Entry into Kentucky), b. 302 KAR 20:065 (Sale and exhibition of Kentucky origin livestock)

Show will begin promptly at 8:00am. Registration runs from 7am-8am.
Swine & Sheep will be the first classes.
Goats & Beef will begin showing around 9:30am after the Swine & Sheep.
Showmanship is a required class for 4-H exhibitors.
Market/Breed classes will be added based on number of entrants. Some classes may be combined. Class list will be finalized the day of the event based on entrants.
Market Classes will be based on declared weights.
Once you are done showing you are welcome to clean up and carefully leave. Please, use caution as showmen, animals and spectators will be moving about the show grounds.
Exhibitors must show their own animals. If an exhibitor has two animals in the same weight/breed class, the second animal may be shown by a fellow exhibitor. Show committee must be notified prior to entering the ring.
Safety of exhibitors, animals, show staff and patrons is highly valued. If an animal cannot be safely handled, the exhibitor and the animal will be dismissed from the class at the discretion of show staff.
The show committee reserves the right to send home any animal not in show condition. A Veterinarian will be inspecting animals and health papers/tags will be checked. Certificate of Veterinary Inspections are Required.
NO pens and NO wash racks will be provided. Fitting is allowed at your trailer only. Showmen will be showing out of your trailers/trucks. Showmen will walk animals to the show ring and back to the trailer. You are welcome to bring materials to setup a small pen and/or pop tents next to your trailer. This is a Carry-in/Carry-out show. Anything you bring to the show must be cleaned up prior to your departure.
Entries: Pre-registration is encouraged with the deadline being June 30th. Day of Registration is allowed; however, all livestock animals must be on the premises and registered by 7:45am, July 11th.
