Show will be held on Friday, July 10th. Riders should be tacked and ready by 5pm. Registration begins at 4pm.
All Exhibitors Must Check in and obtain a back number from the registration tent upon arriving on the grounds.
Entry fee is $10 per class. New 2026: 4-H members in good standing pay a discounted rate of $5 per class.
No entry into a class once a class begins.
Showmanship class is required of all 4-H exhibitors
Showmanship and horsemanship patterns will be posted on the Facebook event page the week of the show.
Green Horse Division: Horse within it's first 2 years of showing.
Rider may not cross enter Beginning Rider and Junior/Senior/Open classes (does not include showmanship and halter classes, as beginning riders may enter their age class for showmanship, and may also enter the halter classes)
**Ride a Buck - Rider must provide their own $1 bill for the Ride a Buck class. When the dollar bill is dropped, it will be collected by the ring steward or volunteers, and the winner will keep all dollar bills from the class.
Exhibitors must report to the holding area when prior class enters the ring.
Exhibitors must wear attire appropriate to their discipline. Short sleeves are acceptable, jackets not required. Jackets and long sleeves optional due to anticipated temperatures. Blouses and shirts must be buttoned and tucked in. No t-shirts, sleeveless tops, tennis shoes or ball caps.
UNDER KENTUCKY LAW, A FARM ANIMAL ACTIVITY SPONSOR, FARM ANIMAL PROFESSIONAL, OR OTHER PERSON DOES NOT HAVE THE DUTY TO ELIMINATE ALL RISKS OF INJURY OF PARTICIPANTS IN FARM ANIMAL ACTIVITIES. THERE ARE INHERENT RISKS THAT YOU VOLUNTARILY ACCEPT IF YOU PARTICIPATE IN FARM ANIMAL ACTIVITIES.
