Tri Dance is a Greater Raleigh network of Christian homeschool families past and present as well as friends of our communities.
We gather to dance for the joy of spending time with old friends and to make new friends.
Reed & Emily Lyon are Christian homeschool parents of six children. They have homeschooled since 2003 and have moved around the country several times. In the various states they have lived, they have experienced ballroom, swing, and English Country Dancing. After moving to North Carolina in 2016, they enjoyed the large homeschool community—meeting new friends at a variety of homeschool and athletic events. In 2022, they were inspired to bring together all the fun social dances they have experienced over the years and offer them to the greater Raleigh Christian homeschool community. They have been encouraged and taken by surprise at the amount of interest in these dances!
Doug & Lori Clark are Christian homeschool parents of six children. They have come alongside the Lyon family from the very beginning. At the very first dance, Lori stepped in and kept the food table humming and organized (she continues to coordinate the food) while Doug ran a smooth check-in. They have since been instrumental in the format and planning of all the dances.
Sean & Christine Jecko are a homeschooling and dancing family. They wear many hats at the dances. They can often be found photographing the dance, running the check-in table, the music, assisting in the kitchen and they are the designated emergency back up hosts should the Lyon's ever be unable to attend a dance.
