One day I got a call from a cool guy named Carlos who dresses up as Maui from Moana and does kids birthday parties and the 4th of July parade. Maui needed a hook!
It was a long way from the volleyball keychains I had been making, but against everything my anxiety told me, I decided to take it on.

It took:
Huge amounts of research
Many failed prints
3 + rolls of filament
Many many hours on Reddit
over 50 hours of printing, not counting the failed prints
I forget how much super glue and sand paper
and maybe a portion of my sanity, but I think I did it!

Well, not really finished. I feel like I could have worked on this for a LOT more time. Making the seams perfect, sanding, painting, makeing the highlights wider, adding glow in the dark etc etc etc. But my man Carlos deserved his hook, so I had to let it go.
