Mancies & Esotericism (part 1)
The esoterics starts from what is obvious. Later, the wholeness is deduced to forecast tendencies and motion.

Motion
A forecast is a probability, a tendency that can be manifested or not according to chance. Predicting that tendency is a chance for motion, a motion that at the same time in linked to vital functions.
A vital function is the one started to generate motion, because motion means life. After that action, attributes or qualities can be appreciated, being secondary and relative to the context or situation of the reading.
The basic and initial point to get an esoteric deduction, is that of synthesis of complements, which are inseparable. Each one of them has a function operating relatively to the whole system, which defines an action to unfold. When two opposite functions converge, they reveal their complementary nature since they don't start a conflict: one of them increases whereas the other one decreases, one thing or another according to the requirements of the wholeness.
Counting with that first deduction, that is, once both complementary functions are located, an esoteric forecast seeks the two points presenting the greatest friction for both functions: the midpoints between them. These points are not of balance, equilibrium or compensation but the ones with greatest tension for what has already been perceived.

In daily life, those points are the phenomena with greater materiality. They can be found in the indications of the contrary hexagram after asking I Ching, in the inverted and previous arcana in a linear sequence when asking Tarot, and in any astrological square.
The way to represent esoteric relationships varies depending on the mancy in used. The Tarot, for example, is a simplified Astrology system, and those relationships are not directly indicated but veiled behind symbolisms. If interested in esotericism in divination, keep in mind that all symbolism will keep you away from the vital functionalities of the invisible. More examples:
The circularity in a linear sequence of I Ching (1-2-3 …) doesn't translate contrary tendencies in hexagrams. Kuei Polarizing (38) and Ko Revolution (49) express these tendencies naturally. But, if represented in a circular space, they appear as opposites to Sung Conflict (6) and Sui Following (17). Nothing prevents Polarizing and Revolution to converge in a reading but, when it happens, one of them will be decreased whereas the other one will be increased.
Kuei (38) and Ko (49) are contraries and, when joined, they’re self-regulated.
Tarot is one of the most eclectic mancies in its forms, the tool with the greatest number of symbolisms circulating everywhere and in all Ages. At the same time, it’s the most esoteric mancy! Each tarotist develops a magnetic relationship with cards, and there's nothing else. That development is a particular and singular process, and cannot be transmitted, which places the practice out of objectivations and consensus about what and how to read. If a tarot reader finds references in fixed meanings, then there’s some kind of self-imposition, because any arcane form is natural.
Inverted Immortality doesn’t flow to Temperance.
Western Astrology is represented in a circular mandala in which some zodiacal functions (or vital motion) are placed in imaginary polar axes. This spatial ordering comes from Cosmos or, better said, our perspective on the sky. But the planetary functions are not defined depending on that ordering of a circular representation: although they're associated with it according to each dignity system, all of them are part of an only differentiated unity (by itself) although discriminated (within our system).
Magnetic unity Cancer- Capricorn, Moon and Saturn indicate discriminated phases.
Comment
The deduced esoteric details provides more info during readings. By getting a card from a deck, or tossing coins and drawing a hexagram, or looking at the signs and planets interacting on a birth chart, It can be deduced the way all these non-visible elements influence! They're all there, altogether and at the same time, because the vital experience is total in each second: an esoteric reading indicates tendencies and probabilities in that experience. These tendencies and probabilities are actions derived from functions that operate through the card that has not been extracted (and the one extracted), the hexagram read (and the one that is not read), and the signs and planets on which the look is not focused (and the ones focused).
