Hello! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Houston, where I study American political behavior. I received my PhD from Duke University in 2024, and joined UH that year.
My research focuses on the psychology of opinion formation, ideology, mass polarization, and racial attitudes. I also pursue methodological work on survey design and analysis, and I have a particular interest in replication studies.
At UH, I teach courses in quantitative political methodology at the undergraduate (POLS 3312) and graduate (POLS 6380) levels.
