Before starting the installation, make sure your Windows computer is connected to the internet.

It is also helpful to:

• Save your open work

• Close unnecessary programs

• Make sure Windows is up to date

• Remove or check for other security software that may conflict with the installation

Open your web browser and visit the Trend Micro website.

Find the download option for your Trend Micro product and select the version designed for Windows.

Download the installation file and wait for the download to finish.

Go to your computer's Downloads folder and find the Trend Micro setup file.

Double-click the file to start the installation.

If Windows asks whether you want to allow the installer to make changes to your computer, review the prompt and select Yes if you obtained the installer from the official Trend Micro source.

The Trend Micro setup window will appear on your screen.

Follow the instructions shown during the installation. You may need to agree to the software terms before continuing.

Select the appropriate Install option and allow the setup to continue.

Do not turn off your computer while the installation is running.

The installer will copy the required files and configure Trend Micro on your Windows computer.

The process may take a few minutes.

When the installation is complete, you should see a confirmation or the Trend Micro application may open automatically.

After installation, Trend Micro may ask you to sign in to your Trend Micro account or provide your product activation information.

Enter the requested information carefully and continue with the setup.

Open Trend Micro from the Windows Start menu.

Check the main screen to confirm that the software is installed and your protection or subscription status is active.

If everything is working correctly, Trend Micro is ready to use on your Windows computer.
