This guide explains the basic steps for downloading and installing Trend Micro on Mac. 

Step 1: Visit the Trend Micro Website

Open Safari or another web browser on your Mac and visit the Trend Micro website.

Sign in to your Trend Micro account if required.

Step 2: Download the Mac Installer

Find the download option for your Trend Micro product and select the Mac version.

Download the installer to your Mac. The file will normally appear in your Downloads folder.

Step 3: Open the Installer

Open the downloaded Trend Micro installer file.

If macOS asks whether you want to open the application, review the prompt and select the appropriate option to continue.

Step 4: Start the Installation

Follow the instructions shown on the screen.

You may need to agree to the software license terms and enter your Mac administrator password.

Allow the installer to complete the required setup.

Step 5: Allow Required Permissions

Depending on your Trend Micro product and macOS version, the software may ask for certain permissions.

Open System Settings when prompted and review the requested security permissions.

Step 6: Sign In or Activate
