We, Trekplore India,extremely grateful to join hands with Trek Tamilnadu team to organise the Vellagavi village trek . 

Booking procedure-

• A slot can be booked by clicking on "Trek Booking Form". 

•  Confirm the slot by paying half of the trek charge.

•  Sharing the ID proof pic is necessary. If payment is made Online, a screenshot is necessary to send to the number -7094061960 

• Assemble point - Dindigul Bus stand (near Balaji Bhavan Hotel)

• Trek dates - February 7 and 8

• Trek Cost - Rs.5300 Per person  from Dindigul ,Rs.7200 Per person from chennai and Rs.6900 Per person from Bangalore.

  A, (Cost Breakdown - 

1. Trek Tamil Nadu trek Registration - Rs.3200 per person including GST.

2. Transportation pick up and drop at Dindigul - Rs.1200 Per person .

3. Additional Lunch other than during the trek - Rs.150 Per person.

4. Trekplore India Trek experience Co-ordinator expenses & Misc - Rs.400 Per person.

5. Trekplore India service charge - Rs.350 Per person  )

B, For Chennai  people - SETC  AC sleeper bus tickets will be booked from Chennai to Dindigul and from Dindigul to Chennai .

c,  For Bangalore  people - SETC  Non AC sleeper bus tickets will be booked from Bangalore to Dindigul and from Dindigul to Bangalore .

(Note-

a, In case of Ac sleeper seats are not available  and seater only available for both chennai and bangalore , such seater seats ticket will be booked only after concurrence with trekker and if it cost less than Rs.6900 for Bangalore and Rs.7200 for Chennai people ,balance amount will be returned before the trip ends. 

b. Due to the last-minute unavailability of SETC bus tickets, if booking an alternative bus incurs additional charges, the extra amount will be collected if it exceeds Rs.6900 for Bangalore and Rs.7200 for Chennai people

c. Any additional requirements when booking a bus, such as selecting an AC Sleeper on privates bus  or looking for alternative bus than SETC that incur extra charges ,it will be collected additionally  if it exceeds Rs.6900 for Bangalore and Rs.7200 for Chennai people

• Trek traverse level - Easy to moderate for New trekkers, Easy for moderate trekkers and experienced trekkers.

• Trek Duration - One night two days .

• Staying option - 2 /3 sharing tent .

Day 1 (Dec 31)

• 5:30Am -Pick up from Dindigul Railway station 

• 6:00Am - Pick up from Dindigul Bus stand (near Balaji bhavan) and moving to vattalagundu 

• 7:30 Am - Break fast at Eden garden hotel in Vattala gundu .

• 8:30 Am - Heading to Kodaikanal .

• 11:30 Am - Reach  Vattakanal Trek starting point .

• 11:45 Am - After briefing general insturction ,Trek starts there on .

• 12: 15 pm -  visiting Dolphins nose point famous tourist attraction on the way to vellagavi village .

• 2:00 Pm - Reach  our campsite  and tent allotment .

• 2:15 Pm - Lunch at the campsite and rest for some time .

• 5:00 PM - sunset hike to Sivan Malai Vellagavi village view point .

• 6:30 Pm -  return  to campsite 

• 7:30 Pm - Campfire and strangers interaction meet and fun activities.

• 8:30Pm - Dinner 

• 10:00 Pm - Sleep amidst the mountain with stargazing.

(Day 1 Inclusion - Lunch ,Trek permit ,trek insurance cover under Trek Tamilnadu registration, dinner ,tea at the campsite , sunset hike , Trek lead assistance from Trekplore india.)

Day 2 (January 1)

• 5:00 AM - Wake up call and get refreshed .

• 5:30 AM - Hiking to the sunrise point (starting the trek in the dark as the sun emerges from a colourful magical flames horizon ) with beautiful Vellagavi village view .

• 7:30 Am - return to campsite  and Tea.

• 8:00 AM - Breakfast and enjoy the morning magic .

• 9:30 Am - leaving campsite to Vellagavi village visit (doubt arises right! - campsite is 1 km before the Vellagavi village ). Trek down to Vellagavi village.

• 10:30 AM - Reach vellagavi village .Explore all the corners of vellagavi village and interact with people .

• 12:30 Pm - Leaving vellagavi village downward to kumbakarai (in the mid way where one can literally experience the kodaikanal shola forest to decidious side of palani hills in Vellagavi reserve forest).

• 1:30Pm - stop at the route to have packed lunch 

• 2:30 Pm - Reach the Kumbakarai Falls and we can immerse ourselves in the falls for some time.

• 4:30 Pm - leaving from kumbakarai to  Dindigul through van .

• 6:00 Pm - Reach Dindigul bus stand .

• 6:15 Pm Reach Dindigul railway station 

Day 2  Inclusion - Breakfast ,Lunch ,Kumbakara fall visit ,Trek insuarance cover under Trek Tamilnadu registration ,Trekplore india Trek lead assistance ,Vellagavi vilage visit .
