Moroshi Bhairavgad
It's been said that the Moroshi Bhairavgad is named after the lord Bhairava - one of the incarnations of Lord Shiva. As per geo-science this unique structure is result of solidification of molten lava forming the huge natural rock wall also called as dike in geological language. Historically this unique structure would have been a very significant strategic outpost and must have served as a important watchtower to keep an eye on surrounding regions and trade routes , specially to keep an eye over the Kalyan-Junnar trade route and the Naneghat-Jivdhan Trade route.
