Tree Fun Facts was established in 2019 by Jake Gutteridge and Tarant Hobbs as the concept of a website covering the subject of trees in our new and unique way. The aim of the project is to educate everyone about the importance of the world’s 3 trillion trees.
We are based in the UK, however the project has a universal appeal for anyone who is interested in understanding trees. As trees are some of the oldest living organisms and an essential source of life, we believe that they should be deeply respected. By exploring a mix of historical, mythological, religious, and scientific perspectives, we can better understand their true value of trees to the world and to humanity.
In 2022, we were awarded the Dorothy Abel-Smith Bronze Standard by CPRE Hertfordshire.
