# Terms & Conditions — TreeView : Disk Space Tracker

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Android application **TreeView : Disk Space Tracker** ("the App"), developed and published by Mitul Donda ("the Developer", "we", "us").

By downloading, installing, or using the App — or by tapping "Accept & continue" on the in-app consent screen — you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

## 1. What the App is

The App is a storage analysis tool. It scans the storage of your device, shows how space is used across folders and files, and provides tools to delete files or folders that you select in order to free up space.

## 2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and Google Play's terms of service.

You may not:

- copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the App except where permitted by law;

- redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the App;

- use the App in any unlawful way or for any unlawful purpose.

## 3. File deletion — important warning

The App includes features that **permanently delete files and folders** from your device ("Wipe Branch", file-type wipe, and similar tools).

- Deletions are executed **only after you confirm** them in the App.

- Deleted files are **not moved to a recycle bin** and **cannot be recovered** by the App or by us.

- **You are solely responsible** for reviewing what you select before confirming any deletion, and for keeping backups of important data.

- The App includes safeguards that block deletion of certain critical system folders, but no safeguard is perfect. Deleting data used by other apps may cause those apps to lose data or malfunction.

**To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss of data, loss of app functionality, or any other damage resulting from deletions you perform with the App.**

## 4. Storage information accuracy

Storage sizes, free-space figures, and charts shown by the App are estimates based on what the Android system makes readable to the App. Android restricts access to some locations (for example other apps' private data), so displayed totals may differ from values shown elsewhere on your device. The App's figures are provided for information only.

## 5. Permissions

The App requires the "All files access" permission to function. Granting the permission is your choice; without it, the App cannot scan your storage. The permission is used only as described in the Privacy Policy.

## 6. Advertising and future features

The App is under active development. Future versions may introduce new features and may display **third-party advertising** (for example Google AdMob). Where ads are shown:

- Ad content is provided by third-party ad networks and does not constitute our endorsement of any product or service.

- Your interaction with any advertisement is solely between you and the advertiser.

- Ad-related data processing is described in the Privacy Policy and the ad network's own policies, and — where required — will be subject to your consent.

We may add, change, or remove features of the App at any time.

## 7. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, graphics, and code, is owned by the Developer and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the App other than the limited license in Section 2.

## 8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided **"as is" and "as available"**, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its measurements will be accurate.

## 9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App — including, without limitation, damage resulting from files you delete using the App.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability shall be limited to the amount you paid for the App (which, for a free app, is zero) or the minimum amount required by law.

## 10. Termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the App. We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms. You may end the agreement at any time by uninstalling the App.

## 11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time (for example when advertising is introduced). The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

## 12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts having jurisdiction over the Developer's place of business shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
