ABOUT THE ARTIST!
ABOUT THE ARTIST!
As of 2023, I go by the42ur3genes on the net, but my real life nickname is Jamie. Most of the time I love to draw, but sometimes I dabble in 3D Modeling and Game Design as well.
I first did digital art using MS Paint. I forgot when exactly did I draw my first artwork on it, but that was a stepping stone towards my interest in digital art. Since young I have been making worlds about living bowling equipment, for some reason.
My dream is bring all my ideas for this series to life and bring joy and laughter to an audience who enjoy The Reimagined Bowlerville. I have had exposure to multiple genres, and this series has a bit of everything. Mostly, though, it’s slice-of-life, fantasy, sports, and comedy.
The day when I started bringing up this concept as a webcomic is November 7th, 2022. Before that, the series went through multiple changes of ideas. In fact, before my series came to be, there are already people who took a spin on bowling equipment with human sentience, but hardly did any of them feature any long-term lore or unique personality that could make people grow attached on the characters. Most of the inspiration came from the Skittles in the Noddy series, but that doesn't mean that other media didn't contribute to this series' inspiration as well.
I play a lot of bowling in Nintendo Switch Sports, and I am also a furry thanks to knowing a lot of artist mutuals who have furry anthro characters of their own. 'The Reimagined Bowlerville' is a project that, for me, is a combination of these things. I’ve been working on it for almost 2 years now, and I want to share it with the world now. I hope everyone will come to enjoy it as much as we do someday.
Outside of this project, my most favorite genres of video games are rhythm, puzzle and incremental. Of course, bowling-themed video games are also up my alley too! I also do art from time to time, but I have more motivation to draw for other people than drawing for myself. I have quite a number of art mutuals and I enjoy socializing with them a lot. My experience with The Modding Tree also led me to people that gave me insights on the game dev circle. I would also animate from time to time, and my goal is to have a video game and an animated series out of this project.
Questions I feel like some viewers may ask me
Why does this series resemble so much of B[REDACTED] by The[REDACTED] on DeviantArt?
Woah, I don’t use that name around here. Not any more!
It’s true that you might know this series by another name if you’ve been following me for a while. The name was not came up by me, and since I changed it to The Reimagined Bowlerville it’s actually become a swear word for me. Not to mention the first 7 characters designs from there (who you would know as Nyancy to Hannah now, THESE are my original designs) ALSO used not to be my ideas either.
As for the DeviantArt username, I never really liked what I did back at the DeviantArt days, so I deactivated that account to start over as a pair of new42ur3jeans, to continue my metamorphosis in the art field.
Worry not, though, even though the designs have been altered, the characters are still the same silly goobers who likes their knock-down games. This series just stepped out of prototype, that's all!
That series also featured other characters, like Rimpie, Whailey and Polo. What happened to them?
Oh, don’t worry! All the characters you might remember from before are still out there, waiting in the wings. They’ll be back, you can be sure of that. My current commitment is to Team Tumblers and Team Defenders. Once I'm happy with the amount of lore they got, I'll get back around to the others.
