CHAIR’S MESSAGE
Greetings, members, and friends of the TRB Performance Management Committee (AJE20):
I hope you are enjoying the start of Spring! The notes and slides from our virtual Spring meeting held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 3:00 to 4:30 PM Eastern are shared below under 'What's New'. During this meeting, we shared our updated Triennial Strategic Plan, discussed research needs, and shared other important information.
Thank you to those who contributed to the update of AJE20’s Triennial Strategic Plan (TSP) for 2025-2028. We received a lot of great feedback from both members and friends and will use the TSP to help guide our committee’s efforts over the coming years. The TSP is now with TRB for final review and approvals, and then we will post it to our TRB AJE20 Website and share with all. We are also working with TRB to determine if we can move forward with the establishment of a subcommittee on Measuring Access to Destinations.
Please note that AJE20 will be going through a committee rotation in 2026. If you have signed up as a friend of the committee, you should have received an email from TRB noting that your committee membership is about to expire and for you to either extend your committee friendship or opt out. Please make sure to respond to extend your committee friendship if you would like to continue in this role. This year is also a great time for friends who want to be considered for full membership in the committee in 2026 to volunteer to support the committee - we will have to rotate some members off in early 2026, and we are looking for engagement from members. We have roles related to session planning, research needs identification, and paper reviews, as well as participants who can serve as a liaison with other committees.
- Michael Grant, TRB AJE20 Chair
