This Sub Committee is concerned with the CST aspects of research, planning, programming, development, coordination, and implementation and other related CST matters. These include, but are not limited to: 1) intermodalism; 2) the interrelation of metropolitan, state, and national airspace systems planning; 3) programming of state and federal financing for CST planning and development; and 4) the development of an efficient, economically effective, environmentally acceptable and safe CST system.
This subcommittee works with stakeholders to help identify UAS research needs; provide information to the transportation community on UAS research priorities and procedures; review papers for presentation at the TRB Annual Meeting and for publication; encourage the incorporation of appropriate research findings into practice; and develop special programs, conferences, and workshops related to UAS.
