2023 Donations

In December 2023, the foundation committee met to decide on our annual donations. Our thinking was to contribute to charities that Travis would appreciate.

Our first donation was to the Alameda Junior Golf Association which hosts a series of junior tournaments every summer and awards college scholarships to eligible high school seniors.  Travis was a junior member and enjoyed many summer days on the course. 

We also donated to Oligo Nation a non-profit organization working towards advancing treatment opportunities for those with oligodendroglioma. We were delighted to hear that $1.5M was donated to research in 2023. These funds are being used to support new treatment options and clinical trials.

Theo was a huge comfort and support to Travis during his illness. Therefore, we decided to donate to an organization that trains service dogs. We couldn't narrow it down to just one and decided to donate to Little Angels Service Dogs and Canine Companions. The dedication to training these special dogs and the resulting impact on the lives of people with disabilities is truly amazing.
