Competitive Milestones

Earning a 3rd Place Armed Overall win at Nationals was a defining moment in my journey. This page recounts the preparation leading up to that day, and the hundreds of hours of practice, the focus on minute details, and the resilience required to stand among the best in the nation.

All-Service Nationals 2026 Daytona Florida: In May 2026, I had the honor of competing with the Sonia Sotomayor High School AFJROTC Silver Knights as we traveled to the National Drill Team Championships for the first time in school history. Competing in Division II, our team delivered a standout performance, securing 3rd Place Overall in the nation.

Our Trophy Haul:

1st Place – Armed Exhibition (National Champions)
3rd Place – Armed Regulation
6th Place – Armed Inspection
11th Place – Color Guard

Taking home national trophies in our inaugural appearance at Nationals is a testament to the discipline we built as a unit. Being part of this debut was a defining moment for me and a proud start to our program’s legacy.
