My name is Travis Sperl, and I am a high school sophomore and AFJROTC cadet dedicated to the pursuit of excellence. Currently ranked in the top 11% of my class with a 97.0 GPA, I balance academic rigor with my roles as a JROTC Class Leader and a member of the Armed Drill Team (The Silver Knights). My commitment to precision earned our team 3rd place overall in the all-service nationals competition, as well as my service on The Silver Knights Color Guard as has reinforced my respect for tradition and ceremonial composure. Beyond the classroom, I hold an FAA Drone Certification and CPR/AED and BLS training, laying the technical groundwork for my goal of attending the United States Air Force Academy to study Aeronautical Engineering.
While I thrive in structured environments, I am equally driven by creative exploration. I view my world through a lens of visual storytelling, using photography to capture atmosphere and sketching to master perspective and environmental composition. I am a sentimental observer who treats physical objects and captured images as "save-points" for memories. This artistic side is more than a hobby; it is a way to process complex ideas in psychology and philosophy, allowing me to communicate perspective and emotion in ways that technical data cannot.
My identity is shaped by a vast, diverse international network. I am trilingual, speaking English, French, and Spanish, which allows me to maintain deep connections with my family and friends spread across the United Kingdom, Spain, France, and Brazil. This global upbringing has instilled in me a unique adaptability and a profound curiosity about how people connect across cultures. Whether I am coordinating community events at church or navigating international relationships, I strive to lead with empathy, resourcefulness, and a perspective that spans far beyond my home in San Antonio.
