Bio-med interest project
-My first interest project is going to be an external temporary kidney implant, this will substitute for actual kidney surgeries with kidneys being a high demand organ.
Break down
-It will consist of a hemodialysis filter, integrated into a custom frame built around a bio reactor. The filter will be replaceable from home to cut down visits to the hospital and the main incisions will be into the renal artery, and renal vein. this should regulate the entire blood circulation, and a incision into the ureter to dispose of built up waste, cutting back on how much fluids the pump holds.

-Kidney surgery is one of the highest if not the highest produced surgery in the united states, kidney failure is one of the largest organ deathsÂ
