Career Goal
I am currently focusing my studies in biomedical engineering, the field that combines my interests and strengths in mathematics and science. My goal is to develop the skills necessary to pursue a challenging career while using engineering to address real world problems not just limited to my own field but across others as well with a uniform standard education to the basic principles. I had decided engineering was going to be my pursuit since freshman year of high school, having had thoughts for a while. Over all, I hope to contribute to the development of technologies and solutions that improve people’s lives and make a meaningful impact in medical fields.
Education
My key points of education are Algebra 1, Geometry Honors, Algebra 2 Honors, Precalculus Honors, AP Calculus, AP Physics, and Biology. JFCTC Engineering has also given me relevant experience, while advanced math, English, and past workplace interactions have helped me develop communication skills.
Extracurricular
Sports- Track and field.
In school- Looking into student body activities like class president.
Outside of school- Part time job.
Employed previously- Part time employee working up to eight hour shifts in hot cramped areas with minimal break time.
After High School
I'm not looking to go into the military. Ideally, I would go to a community college with a strong engineering program. I am looking into universities, but I'm not too sure. Trade is almost off the table since it doesn't really fit my interests.
Ambitions
I strive to make cheap methods for common problems in the medical field, along with actual resolutions for more complicated problems. Even if they are on the more expensive end. Along with refurbishing outdated ideas that are good in theory but don't have modern technology to back it up.
