Installation Guide

For computers with Windows:

1. Install (or run) Rufus.

2. If you see an option that says Persistent partition size , then put in a good amount. You should save atleast 7 - 30 GB for the save files. For 32 GB USB's put 20 GB. You don't need to add the persistent partition size if you don't want to.

3. If you have a USB drive that is less than 32 GB then don't add the persistent partition.

4. Press START.

5. Once done you can either reboot to the USB or eject it.

6. Once your booting into the USB, make sure "Start TravelerOS (New session)" is highlighted.

7. Click the "E" key on your keyboard to edit the boot option.

8. Click the left arrow key multiple times until you reach "perchdir=new".

9. Replace "perchdir=new" to "perchsize=???00" The question marks represent how much storage the root partition takes. (Example: Let's say you have a 128 GB external hard drive with TravelerOS, you will put in: "perchsize=10000". This gives you 100 GB to start with, and the 28 GB goes to the files in /traveler4/changes)

For computers with Linux:

1. Download the ISO image.

2. Mount the ISO image.

3. Format your USB drive to FAT32. Make sure the volume name is traveler4.

4. Copy all 3 folders from the ISO to the USB drive.

5. Once done, reboot, or eject.
