TransplantFit ("the App") is developed by Transplant Tools. It helps organ transplant candidates and recipients track nutrition, symptoms, weight, and activity. This policy explains what information the App handles and where it goes. In short: your health information stays on your device. We do not collect, sell, or share it.
Food logs, weight entries, symptom and mood journal entries, goals, and the patient details you add to reports are stored only on your device, using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData). This information is never uploaded to servers operated by Transplant Tools, and we have no access to it.
With your explicit permission, the App reads data from Apple Health, such as step count, active calories, weight, and lab results (for example serum albumin, creatinine, AST, ALT, INR, and glucose). You choose which data types to allow and can change this at any time in the Health app or in iOS Settings. Data obtained from Apple Health is used only to show your information inside the App and in reports you choose to create. It is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with third parties.
When you search for a food, the search term is sent to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's FoodData Central database to retrieve nutrition information. No name, account, device identifier, or health data is sent with the search.
PDF reports are generated on your device. A report leaves your device only when you choose to share it, for example by email or AirDrop to your transplant team, using the standard iOS share sheet. Once shared, the recipient's handling of the report is governed by their own policies.
The App contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking. We do not require an account and do not collect names, email addresses, location, or device identifiers.
Deleting the App removes all information stored by the App on your device. Data in Apple Health is managed separately in the Health app.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
TransplantFit is a tracking and communication tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and does not replace the guidance of your transplant team.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
