Paul is a district tech teacher who spends a lot of time reviewing learning data from different sources in order to gather meaningful insights on learning. Through these experiences he has seen a need for custom assessment tools to capture meaningful learning information and the ability to aggregate assessment data from many sources into targeted interpretations for the various learning partners (students, parents, teachers, administrators, governance). Paul currently implements aspects of each service provided by the Transparency venture in his work which is why these elements were included in the business model. The context in which Paul works is not special or unique, which implies there is need for these types of services in other education contexts.
