(1) [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Squat the whole body downward, and step the right foot horizontally to end in a horse stance [mǎbù]. At the same time, relax both palms to hand down from the shoulders with the palms facing backward. At the same time, sink the Qi downward and look forward. Empty the chest and tighten the back, relaxing the entire body on the inside and outside, as in Figure 293.
Figure 293
(二).由前式徐徐吸氣,頂向上頭,徐徐上昇,以腰為軸,由右向左摇轉,右手隨身摇至左膝前,目視右手,如圖294。
(2) [Continuing] from the previous movement, slowly inhale while pushing through the crown of the head and slowly rise up. Using the waist as an axis, sway from the right towards the left. As the body sways to the right, move the right hand until it is in front of the left knee. Look at the right hand, as in Figure 294.
Figure 294
(三). 繼前式摇擺上昇,左手由左向右摇擺至右膝前,目視左手,如圖295。

(4) [Continuing] from the previous movement, continue to inhale and rise up while swaying, using the waist as an axis to sway from the right towards the left. Rotate the right hand until it is in the front left direction. Look at right hand, as in Figure 296.
Figure 296

(5) [Continuing] from the previous movement, continue to inhale and rise up while swaying, using the waist as an axis to sway from the left to the right. Swing the left palm until it is to the front left of the stomach. Both palms are near each other. Look at both palms, as in Figure 297.
Figure 297
(6) Continuing from the previous movement, continue to inhale and slowly rise up. Both legs are straight but not straight [i.e., softened]. Using the waist as an axis, sway the upper body from the right towards the left. Look at both palms in front of the body while swaying three times in a circular shape, going from big [circles] to small [circles] to tiny [circles]. Wait until the whole body is standing up, and then slowly sink the Qi and send it to fill the entire body. Both hands end in Yin palms, with the fingers pointing opposite each other. Push downward [àn] in front of the abdomen and look forward at eye level, as in Figure 298.
Figure 298

(7) Continuing from the previous movement, harmonize the breath and then slowly inhale. Swing the toes of the right foot outward, and draw the left foot next to the right foot to end in a standing upright posture. At the same time, raise both elbows to [shoulder] level with the fingers hanging downward. Look forward, as in Figure 299.
Figure 299
(八).由前式兩掌徐徐放下,氣隨手下垂,沉入丹田,目仍前平,全體端正,神態鬆浄自然,仍返混元無極,全套太極拳動作,至比結束。
(8) Continuing from the previous movement, slowly lower both palms down. Sink the Qi to the Dantian as the hands drop down. The eyes remain looking forward at eye level, with the entire body properly upright. The appearance is completely natural, returning to the original Wuji state. This concludes the entire set of Taijiquan movements.
