Previous: Posture 90. Glide Down
Posture 91. Step Up to Seven Stars
[Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Turn the left toes outward and step solidly [on it], then advance the right foot forward a half step to end in a right empty stance [xū bù]. At the same time, lift the left hand up as a standing palm, and send the right palm to pierce beneath the left palm. Both palms are crossed, with the right palm on the outside and doing wardoff [peng] in front of the chest, as in Figure 274.
