八八.上步攬雀尾
(一).右上[扌+履]:由前式兩腳不動,鬆腰後坐右腿,身右擰,徐徐吸氣。同時右拳鬆開成翻掌,隨身擰向右上方[扌+履]囬,高與肩齊,左手仍附於右腕背,目視右掌,面對西北,如圖265。
Posture 88. Step up, Grasp Bird’s Tail
(1) Upper Right Roll Back: Continuing from [the previous movement], keep both feet motionless. Relax the waist and sit back on the right leg. Twist the body towards the right, and slowly inhale. At the same time, release the right fist to end in a flipped palm [facing outward]. As the body twists to the right, roll back [lǚ] to the upper right direction at shoulder level height. Keep the left hand attached at the back of the right wrist. Look at the right palm and face the northwest, as in Figure 265.

(二).上步前上掤:由前式鬆腰,左腳尖外擺約30度,身前移,坐實左腿,右腳前邁一步成右弓步。同時兩掌下落隨上步势向左向前上掤,手心向內,左手仍扶右腕內,氣沉丹田以貫注兩掌,目視兩掌,如圖266。
(2) Step Up and Wardoff Upward to the Front: [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and turn the toes of the left foot outward approximately 30 degrees. [Then], shift the body forward to sit solidly on the left leg and take one step forward with the right foot, ending in a right bow stance [gōng bù]. At the same time that the body steps forward, drop both palms down to the left, [and then] wardoff upward to the front. The center of the [right] hand is facing inward, and the left hand is still supporting at the inside of the right wrist. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian, and then concentrate [the Qi] into both palms. Look at both palms, as in Figure 266.

(三).向左上[扌+履]:由前式鬆腰,兩腳不動,徐徐吸氣,身先右後擰,左手推右掌向右微領,再向左轉,兩手分向左上[扌+履]囬,右手陽掌,高與眼平;左手掌翻,高與肩平,目視右掌,面對西南,如圖267。
(3) Rollback to Upper Left: [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist while keeping both feet motionless. Slowly inhale and twist the body towards the right. Use the left hand to push the right palm, guiding it slightly towards the right. Then, turn towards the left with both hands separated in an upper left wardoff [lǚ]. The right hand is a Yang palm at eye level height, and the left hand is flipped [outward] at shoulder level height. Look at the right hand and face the southwest, as in Figure 267.

(四).向前平擠:由前式兩腳不動,身向右擰轉正,蹬開左腿成右弓步。同時右掌下落切平於胸前,左手扶右小臂內側向前平擠,右手食指向上頂勁,氣沉丹田以貫注右掌,目視左掌,如圖268。
(4) Level Press Forward: Continuing from [the previous movement], keep both feet motionless. Twist the body towards the right and push through the left leg to end in a right bow stance [gōng bù]. At the same time, use the right palm to slice downward until it is level to the front of the chest. Use the left hand supporting at the inside of the right foream to press forward. Send energy through the end of the right index finger. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian, and then concentrate [the Qi] into the right palm. Look at the left palm, as in Figure 268.

(五).雙[扌+履]:由前式鬆腰,徐徐吸氣,兩腳不動,身左擰,坐左腿。同時雙肘後縮,兩手陽掌雙[扌+履] 至腰間,目前視,面西南,如圖269。
(5) Double Rollback: [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Keeping both feet motionless, twist the body towards the left and sit on the left leg. At the same time, do a double rollback [lǚ] by drawing back both elbows until both hands are Yang palms at the sides of the waist. Face the southwest, as in Figure 269.

(六).雙按:由前式鬆腰,身向右轉正,蹬開左腿成右弓步。同時兩掌上提,由口兩側翻成陰掌向前下雙按與胸平。頂頭塌腰,沉肩墜肘,氣沉丹田以貫注兩掌,目視兩掌,如圖270。
(6) Double Push: [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and turn the body towards the right. Push through the left leg to end in a right bow stance. At the same time, raise both palms until they are at each side of the mouth, and then flip them over to end in Yin palms that are pushing [àn] forward at chest level. Push through the crown of the head and settle down into the waist. Sink the shoulders and drop the elbows. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian, and then concentrate [the Qi] into the two palms. Look at both hands, as in Figure 270.
