八七.上步指襠捶
由前式鬆腰徐徐吸氣,右腳尖外擺約三十度,坐實右腿,左腳前上一步成左弓步。同時左[should be 右]手提肘握翻拳,由右耳側向前下直沖,左手附於右小臂內,右腿蹬直,頭向上頂,目視右掌,氣沉丹田以貫注右掌,如圖264。
Posture 87. Step up and Hit Groin
[Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Turn the toes of the right foot outward approximately 30 degrees and then sit solidly on the right foot. Take one step forward with the left foot to end in a left bow stance [gōng bù]. At the same time, raise the right elbow and flip the fist [to face outward] at the side of the right ear. Then punch straight forward and downward, with the left hand touching at the inside of the right forearm. Straighten the right leg and push [through the foot] with the crown of the head pushing [upward]. Look at the right palm. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian, and then concentrate [the Qi] into the right palm, as in Figure 264.
