七六. 海底針
(一).由前式鬆徐徐吸氣,起身,左腳提囬半步在右腳前點地。同時右肘上提,立掌置右耳旁,左手立掌向上掤,向右[扌+履] ,護於胸前,兩掌心相對,面東,目視左掌,如圖229。
Posture 76. Needle at Sea Bottom
(1) [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Slowly raise the body, [shift the weight to the right foot], and move the left foot back a half step to touch the ground in front of the right foot. At the same time, raise up the right elbow and [lift] the [right hand] as a standing palm beside the right ear. [Change] the left hand to a standing palm, and ward off [peng] towards the upper-right to guard in front of the chest. The centers of both palms should be opposite each other. Look at the left palm and face the east, as in Figure 229.

(二).由前式,兩腳不動,全身下蹲,右掌向前下方刺,左掌扶右腕內,目視右掌,氣沉丹田,如圖230。
(2) [Continuing] from the previous movement, keep both feet unchanged and squat the whole body down. Stab the right palm down to the front, with the left palm supporting at the inside of the right wrist. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian and look at the right palm, as in Figure 230.
