七四. 白鶴亮翅
(一).由前式鬆腰,徐徐吸氣,身左轉約九十度,左腳不動,右腳前移半步,扣膝向東。同時右手向左護面下落於左肩前,左手下落從襠前向上挑起與眼平,右手心對正左肘窩,兩手立掌,面東,目視左掌,如圖225。
Posture 74. White crane Shows its Wings
(1) [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Turn the body approximately 90 degrees towards the left. Keeping the left foot motionless, shift the right foot forward a half step with the knee turned [inward] towards the east. At the same time, move the right hand towards the left to guard the face, [and then ] drop it down until it is in front of the left shoulder. Drop the left hand down in front of the groin, and then raise it up to eye level height. The center of the right hand is opposite of the crook of the left elbow. Both hands [end in] standing palms. Look at the left palm and face the east, as in Figure 225.

(二).由前式鬆腰,徐徐吸氣,身向右後方旋轉,面對西南,右腳不動,左腳跟提起。同時左手向右護面,落於右肩前,右手下落襠前,再向右上方挑起,高與眼平,左手心對右肘窩,目視右掌,氣沉丹田,如圖226。
(2) [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Turn the body back towards the right to face the southwest. Keeping the right foot motionless, [sit solidly on the right leg] and lift the left heel. At the same time, move the left hand towards the right to guard the face, and then drop the [left hand] down [to a place] in front of the right shoulder. Drop the right hand down in front of the groin, and then raise it up towards the right at eye level height. The center of the left hand is opposite of the crook of the right elbow. Look at the right palm and sink the Qi to the dan-tian, as in Figure 226.
