七三. 提手上勢
由前式鬆,徐徐吸氣,起身,右腳站實,左腳徐徐蹬開,体重移右腿,左腳前移並立,同時右手由前向上提起,架於額前上方成陰掌,左手下按於腰前,大指對臍,均成陰掌,氣沉丹田,体態端正,目前平視,如圖224。
Posture 73. Raise the Hand Up
(1) [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Raise the body and stand solidly on the right foot. Slowly push through the left foot and shift the body weight to the right foot. Move the left foot forward to stand side-by-side with the [right foot]. At the same time, raise the right hand up in the front, blocking upward in front of the forehead with a Yin palm. Push downward with the left hand until it is in front of the waist, with the thumb opposite of the navel and also ending in a Yin palm. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian. The body is upright and the eyes look forward [at eye] level, as in Figure 224.
