六〇. 野馬分鬃
(一). 由前式鬆腰徐徐吸氣,身右擰, 坐右腿, 扣左腳, 同時兩手隨身擰势, 左手向上護面, 右手向下護襠, 兩掌上下相合於右膝上方, 目視左掌, 面西南,如圖168。
Posture 60. Parting the Wild Horses Mane
(1) [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Twist the body towards the right and sit on the right leg, turning the left foot inward. Move both hands as the body twists, with the left hand going up to guard at the face and the right hand going down to guard the groin. Align both the top and bottom hands over the right knee. Look at the left palm and face the southwest, as in Figure 168.

(二). 由前式鬆腰坐左腿, 右腳向西順直, 同時兩掌隨身向左搬, 右手至左膝外側上托於腹前, 左手下按高與肩平, 垂肩墜肘, 空胸緊背, 面向南, 目視右掌,如圖169。
(2) Continuing from the previous movement, relax the waist and sit on the left leg, arranging the right foot to align directly towards the west. At the same time that the body turns, move both hands towards the left, with the right hand raising [tuō] in front of the abdomen and above the outside of the left knee. Push [àn] the left hand down to shoulder level height. Sink the shoulders and drop the elbows. Empty the chest and tighten the back. Face towards the south and look at the right palm, as in Figure 169.

(三). 由前式鬆腰, 徐徐右擰, 左腳徐徐蹬開, 同時兩手隨身擰斜分, 右手陽掌托平, 右肩背向右上靠, 左手陰掌向左下撑開, 兩臂前後托撑, 徐徐沉氣。面對西南, 目視左掌, 成右分鬃势,如圖170。
(3) Continuing from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly twist towards the right, slowly pushing through the left foot. At the same time that the body twists, separate both hands diagonally, raise [tuō] the right hand as a Yang palm at [shoulder level] and bump [kào] to the upper right with the back of the right shoulder. Brace [chēng] open with the left hand using a Yin palm towards the lower left. Raise [tuō] and brace [chēng] with both arms to the front and back while slowly sinking the Qi. Face the southwest and look at the left hand, ending in Separate Wild Horses Mane Posture to the right, as in Figure 170.

(四). 由前式鬆腰右擰, 坐左腿, 同時目視右掌向右上提領, 與右腳尖上下相對成陽掌, 右肘與右膝上下相合, 面西, 左手陰掌仍按左胯外側。体態端正, 目視右掌, 徐徐吸氣,如圖171。
(4) Continuing from the previous movement, relax the waist and twist towards the right, sitting on the left leg. At the same time, withdraw the right palm towards the upper right with a Yang palm. Align the [right hand] over the right toes, and align the right elbow over the right knee, facing to the west. Keep the left hand as Yin palm and push [àn] to the outside of the left

(五). 由前式鬆腰, 右腳尖外撇約卅度, 身前移坐右腿, 左腳跟進, 靠右腳點地, 然後身右擰, 右手变陰掌, 向右[扌+履] 按於胸前, 高與肩平; 左手陽掌向右抄托於右肘下方, 高與腰平, 目視左掌, 面北,如圖172。
(5) Continuing from the previous movement, relax the waist and swing the toes of the right foot outward approximately 30 degrees. Shift the body's weight forward and sit on the right leg. Step the left forward until it is next to the right foot, touching the toes on the ground. After that, twist the body towards the right and change the right hand to a Yin palm, doing a rollback [lu] towards the right and pushing [àn] in front of the chest at shoulder level height. Change the left hand to a Yang palm and fold the arm, raising the hand [tuō] under the right elbow at waist level height. Look at the left palm and face the north, as in Figure 172.
[Note: The feet are not facing north. Only the waist is facing north, which is achieved by closing the right kua.]

(六). 由前式鬆腰左擰, 左腳邁一步, 右腳徐徐蹬開。同時兩掌隨身擰斜分, 左手陽掌托平, 用左肩臂左上肘靠打, 右手陰掌斜向右下撑開, 兩臂前托後撑, 徐徐沉氣, 目視右掌, 成左分鬃势,面西, 如圖173。
(6) Continuing from the previous movement, relax the waist and twist towards the left, taking one step with the left foot and begin pushing through the right foot. At the same time that the body twists, separate both palms diagonally, with the left hand raising [tuō] as a Yang palm at [shoulder] level. Use the left shoulder and arm to attack towards the upper left with elbow [zhou] and bump [kào] [energies]. Brace [chēng] open with the right hand using a Yin palm diagonally towards the lower right. Raise [tuō] and brace [chēng] with both arms to the front and back while slowly sinking the Qi. Look at the right palm, ending in Separate Wild Horses Mane Posture to the left. Face the west, as in Figure 173.

(七). 由前式鬆腰左擰坐右腿, 身向西轉, 左掌向左上提領, 與左腳尖上下相對成立掌, 左肘與左膝上下相合面西, 右手陰掌仍按於右胯外側, 目視左掌, 体態端正, 徐徐吸氣,如圖174。
(7) Continuing from the previous movement, relax the waist and twist towards the left, sitting on the right leg and turning the body towards the left. [At the same time], lift and guide the left palm towards the upper left [with a Yang palm]. Align the [left hand] over the left toes, and align the left elbow over the left knee, facing to the west. Keep the right hand as Yin palm and push [àn] to the outside of the right hip joint [kuà]. Keep the body upright, and look at the left palm while slowly inhaling, as in Figure 174.

(八). 由前式鬆腰, 左腳尖外撇約30度, 体重前移, 坐實左腿, 右腳移靠左腳點地, 身左擰, 左掌平按於胸前, 右掌向左腋外抄托, 面西南, 目視右掌, 如圖175。
(8) Continuing from the previous movement, relax the waist and swing the toes of the left foot outward approximately 30 degrees. Shift the body's weight forward and sit on the left leg. Step the right forward until it is next to the left foot, touching the toes on the ground. [After that], twist the body towards the left and change the left hand [to a Yin palm] pushing [àn] at the front of the chest at shoulder level height. Change the right palm to fold under the left armpit [as if] holding [something]. Look at the right palm and face the southwest, as in Figure 175.

(九). 由前式右腳前邁一步, 蹬開左腿, 同時右肩臂陽掌斜向上托靠, 左手陰掌, 向左下撑開, 徐徐沉氣, 目視左掌, 成右分鬃势,面西, 如圖176。
(9) Continuing from the previous movement, take one step with the right foot and begin pushing through the left foot. At the same time, bump [kào] with the right shoulder and raise [tuō] the right arm diagonally upward [to the right]. Brace [chēng] open with the left hand using a Yin palm [diagonally] towards the lower left. Raise [tuō]. Slowly sink the Qi and kook at the left palm, ending in Separate Wild Horses Mane Posture to the right. Face the west, as in Figure 176.
