五八. 攬雀尾
(一).左下[扌+履]: 由前式徐徐吸氣, 坐左腿, 身左擰, 曲膝下蹲, 同時兩掌隨身轉向左向下[扌+履], 面西, 目視右掌, 如圖160。
Posture 58. Grasp the Sparrow's Tail
(1) Rollback to lower left:
[Continuing] from the previous movement, slowly inhale and sit on the left leg. Twist the body towards the left and bend at the knees to squat down. At the same time that the body turns, rollback [lu] both palms down toward the left. Face the west and look at the right palm, as in Figure 160.

(二). 前上掤: 蹬左腿, 身右轉, 左指根推右手腕向上掤起。氣沉丹田以貫注兩掌, 面向西北,目注兩掌, 如圖161。
(2) Ward-off to upper front:
Push through the left leg and turn the body towards the right. Use the root of the left fingers to push the right wrist forward and wardoff [peng] upward. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian, and then focus [the Qi] into the two palms. Face the northwest and concentrate the eyes on both palms, as in Figure 161.

(三). 左上[扌+履]: 徐徐沉氣, 身先右擰, 兩掌隨動, 再向左轉坐左腿, 兩手囬向左上[扌+履], 面西, 目視右掌, 如圖162。
(3) Rollback to left:
Slowly sink the Qi, and at first twist the body towards the right, moving both palms as the body turns. Then, turn the body towards the left and sit on the left leg, moving both hands to rollback [lu] towards the upper left. Face the west and look at the right palm, as in Figure 162.

(四). 向前平擠: 隨身右轉, 蹬左腿成右弓步, 右手下切, 左掌推右腕向前打擠, 氣沉丹田, 以貫注兩掌, 目前視, 面向西北, 如圖163。
(4) Press level to the front:
As the body turns towards the right, push through the left leg to end in a right bow stance. Slice the right hand downward, and use the left palm to push at the right wrist while striking forward with a press [ji]. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian, and then focus [the Qi] into the two palms. Look forward and face towards the northwest, as in Figure 163.

(五) 雙[扌+履]: 徐徐吸氣, 後坐左腿, 身左擰, 雙掌下落後[扌+履] 成陽掌, 置於腰際, 面西, 如圖164。
(5) Double rollback:
Slowly inhale and sit back on the left leg, twisting the body towards the left. Drop both palms down and rollback [lu], ending with Yang palms at the sides of the waist. Face the west, as in Figure 164.

(六) 雙按: 蹬左腿身右轉, 雙掌上提成陰掌, 由口側向前平按, 氣沉丹田以貫注兩掌, 面西北, 目視雙掌, 如圖165。
(6) Double push:
Push through the left leg and turn the body towards the right. Raise both palms up to end with Yin palms at either side of the mouth. Push [àn] both hands forward at [shoulder] level. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian, and then focus [the Qi] into the two palms. Face the northwest and look at both palms, as in Figure 165.
