Posture 48. Right Heel Kick
(1) [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Squat the body down. At the same time, change both fists to palms and drop them downward. As the body squats down, move the [right palm] over the back of the left wrist and forcefully insert [i.e., pierce] the right palm in front of the groin, with the fingers [of the right palm] pointing downward and the palm center is facing inward. Use the left hand to support [under] the right arm. Look at both palms and face the east, as in Figure 134.

At the same time that the right leg [kicks], stab the right hand forward at [shoulder] level and brace the left hand open towards the upper left. Push through the crown of the head and withdraw the hip [kuà]. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian, and then focus [the Qi] into the four limbs of the body. Look at the right palm and face the east, as in Figure 136.
[Note: In the red book, Figure 3.48-136 is incorrect. It is a repeat of Figure 3.49-137. I don't know if the error occurs in the original book translations. The re-release of the original book by the Rochester school shows the correct image.]
