四六. 退步左打虎勢
由前式鬆腰,徐徐吸氣,右腳不動, 左腳向左後方退一步, 身向左後方擰轉, 扣右腳, 同時左拳隨身下落, 向右後方撩架於左額上方成翻拳, 右陰拳收囬由腰際轉向西北方平伸成立拳, 氣沉丹田以貫注兩拳, 面西北, 目視右拳, 如圖132。
Posture 46. Step Back, Hit Tiger (Left)
[Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Keeping the right foot in place, use the left foot to take one step back towards the left rear direction. Turn the body towards the left rear direction and turn the right foot inward. At the same time that the body turns, drop the left fist down and then lift the [left fist] to block above the left of the forehead with the fist reversed [i.e., facing outward]. [Also], at first withdraw the right Yin fist to the side of the waist. [Then as the body turns to the left rear direction], stretch the [right fist forward] using a standing fist. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian, and then focus [the Qi] into both fists. Face the northwest and look at the right fist, as in Figure 132.
[Note: On the previous Hit Tiger, it said have the punching fist as a Yang fist at the side of the waist. This one says to have it as a Yin fist. ]
